WOMEN

The Women’s Bible Study is open to all ladies of all ages and in all stages of life attending the church. This happens every third Sunday of the month immediately after the midmorning service within the church premises.

We gather to study God’s word, pray together and share lives with one another as we follow Christ. We believe that God’s word is central and aspire to have our lives and ministry grounded on it.  We have been studying different books of the bible with the help of preset questions or a guide. So far, we have looked at Paul’s letters to the Philippians and Colossians. We hope to continue in similar studies as we keep hearing the word of God directing us rather than our own voices or the voices of the world.

We have ‘one anothering pairs’ where each lady is paired with another for a specified period of time. We trust that through these there would be prayer support, encouragement and mutual /intergenerational mentoring. Being a relatively young church, this helps in getting to know each other and in serving one another. There has been a number of home visits, coffee/tea dates and outings stemming from this. We pray that this will continue to bear gospel fruit.

Last year we held a day long seminar where we were taught on meditating on the Word of God, did a study on the book of Ruth and also looked at effective prayer partnering. We hope that this can grow and probably even organize retreats where we can continue to learn together.
