Karibu sana to this page. As you perhaps already know, this page is a bouncing board for ideas, a wailing wall for prayer and some sort of notice board for information all regarding a church plant – or indeed a church planting movement, being envisisioned to start in the small town of Kikuyu from mid 2017.
There is certainly much more to be said about the reasons for planting and the justifications for a particular location and that will come later. Meanwhile, please add in your own comments in order to enrich the conversation. Do feel free also to raise concerns, fears and doubts and we will think through and draw help from the scriptures together.

Gracepoint church kikuyu
Who We are
A Christ Centered Church -Proclaiming Christ crucified, the only hope for a fallen world.
GracePoint Church was planted in June 2017 when a number of Christians living in and around Kikuyu township came together to think and pray about a local church that would be committed to Gospel centrality, expository preaching and contextual ministry.
We are committed to faithful, clear exposition of God’s word. We work to see the outworking of the gospel in a loving community of servant-hearted men and women, children and youth all longing for the Lord’s appearing.
The End Motive
We are an outward looking church, working to see gospel workers raised, sent and supported to further the gospel in regions beyond our immediate reach.
We are located in Kikuyu town, behind Kikuyu railway station, on Ondiri Road.Close to the centre of Kikuyu Town, 18km from the centre of Nairobi and easily reachable via the southern bypass or Waiyaki Way.

Statement of Faith for Members of GracePoint Church
1. We believe that the Bible, the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament, are God’s own words and the writers only wrote what God said and inspired (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21). Thus this Bible is without error or contradiction in the original manuscripts, infallible, wholly sufficient and authoritative in all matters of faith and way of life, both for the conduct of the church and for every Christian at the individual level.

Giving, salvation and membership
GracePoint Church is grateful to receive gifts from anyone who is willing to give them but we would not want anyone to think that they are in any way earning their salvation or any credit with God through their giving.
How is the giving used?
Transparent statements of accounts are presented at regular members meetings. If you have any questions about these, about how to give or any other questions related to church finances please contact our deacon for finance – Caroline Kimani.
